Today, Scheduled Caste activists from Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand have started protesting in Delhi against scrapping of reservation (quota in promotions) in those states. The protest was initiated by World Dalit Council and All India Chamar Mahar Jatav Mahasabha.
